Membership

Membership to the Otago Malaysian Students Association is open to all students based here in Dunedin regardless of ethnicity, race, religion, political affiliation, or nationality. Membership drives are conducted during the university’s Clubs and Societies Day during Orientation Week in Semester 1 and re-orientation in Semester 2. However, membership is ongoing throughout the academic year. A membership fee of NZD$2.00 per person per year is applicable upon completion and submission of the OMSA registration form. Registration forms are also available at all our events and also from our Honorary Secretary. More information on membership is available in our constitution.

NB: Malaysian students holding Malaysian passports are also required to complete and submit MSD registration forms for the purposes of records for the Malaysian Students Department based in the High Commission of Malaysia in New Zealand.
